Lacee Neidigh

Owner & Occupational Therapist

I have been married for 11 years to my husband Shaun. I have 3 children Wimberlee (8), Beckett (5), and Bo (2). I have been a Prosper resident for 7 years and we have really enjoyed the community. I grew up in The Woodlands, Texas and then went to Texas Tech for my master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.

I have been an Occupational Therapist for 12 years. My education has continued through my SIPT (sensory integration) certification, Beckman Oral Motor, reflex training, rhythmic movement training, talk tools training, ocular motor training and some NDT training. I was a Vision Therapist in college and gained extensive experience with ocular motor and visual perceptual deficits. I work hard to incorporate the whole child into their treatment plan. I believe that when we take a holistic approach we reach a child’s highest potential. It is imperative to look at each child’s motivation and strengths in order to build upon their weaknesses.

My goal is to help each of my clients reach their highest level of potential by mentoring and communicating with families. It is not just about the one child but about their family unit, their goals, dreams, and personal passion for growth.

Occupational Therapist

I recently married my now husband, Nicholas, this past January. I grew up in Lubbock, Texas but have lived in the North Texas area for 2 years and we love to call this place home! I received my bachelors in Kinesiology from Texas Tech University then went to Occupational Therapy school at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, Texas. I have always had a passion for working with kids but always knew OT was for me since being introduced in high school through my god mother. I had always had a special relationship with her daughter, my god sister, who was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome at a young age.

Prior to OT school I shadowed various occupational therapy settings but fell in love with helping kids reach their full potential. I am especially passionate about sensory integration, feeding therapy/oral motor skills, and ocular motor training. I received vision therapy as a patient when I was in high school and after seeing what a difference it made in my life, I became a vision therapist to help other kids. I worked as a vision therapist through the end of my bachelor’s degree and throughout my occupational therapy program. In this time, I was able to gain unique experience working with a variety of diagnoses – amblyopia, esotropia, exotropia, convergence insufficiency, oculomotor dysfunction, dyslexia, and visual perceptual deficits. Continued education after graduating has helped to further my knowledge and skill set as an OT, I have obtained my CASI (Certificate in Ayres Sensory Integration) as well as Beckman Oral Motor.

Emily Rosado

Occupational Therapist

I am ecstatic about recently joining the team at Helping Hands! First, a little bit about me, I grew up in Arkansas (Go Hogs!), but moved to Texas to attend grad school at Texas Women's University in Dallas, where I received my masters in occupational therapy. I met my husband Carlos, while in OT school, so Texas has become home. We recently welcomed our first baby girl into the world, and becoming parents has been the greatest joy.

I have been a pediatric occupational therapist for over 5 1/2 year. I have always had a passion and heart for serving children. You can almost always find me at any event playing with the kiddos. I love getting to build relationships with not only my sweet clients, but also their families. I believe the most beneficial therapy is when the parents are involved in creating the goals and then equipped with tools to use at home. Since beginning my career as an OT I have been able to work with various diagnoses including ASD, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Jordan's syndrome, TBI's and more. I am trained in SOS approach to feeding have experience in sensory processing, social/emotional issues, as well as fine and gross motor delays. I never want to stop learning and growing as a therapist, so that I can best help each child that I have the privilege to work with.

Speech-Language Pathologist

My husband, Jared, and I have been married for 18 years. We grew up together in Plano,  and we got married while Jared was serving in the United States Navy.  We have three children, Oliver (15), Elliot (13) and Willa (6) and have called Prosper home for the past 11 years. We also have two dogs named Charlie and Hank. We enjoy spending time at the lake, boating, and attending our sons’ hockey games.

I have been a Speech- Language Pathologist for 16 years. I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas and have served as a Speech- Language Pathologist in many settings, including the public school system, in rehabilitation, and skilled nursing facilities. My oldest brother, Joe, has cerebral palsy, and he is my inspiration behind becoming an SLP. I spent my childhood attending his numerous therapy sessions and knew that one day I wanted to devote my time to helping others. I also gained a strong passion for special education advocacy through attending my brother’s numerous IEP meetings and through over 10 years of experience as a school based SLP.

I have experience with a variety of communication disorders including but not limited to articulation/ phonological processing disorders, expressive/ receptive language delays, and pragmatic/ social language impairments. My goal is to work hand in hand with families to facilitate the most functional and efficient level of communication for each child.

Jordyn Brechler

Speech-Language Pathologist

I have been a Speech-Language Pathologist for almost 2 years!  I received my undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University (Gig’em!) and my master’s degree from the University of Texas at Dallas.

I have experience in pediatric speech and language therapy with a special interest in speech sound disorders, phonological delays/disorders, childhood apraxia of speech and receptive/expressive language delays. I have worked with children from various backgrounds, needs and disorders through my time in the public school setting, outpatient clinics and various private practices across the Dallas area.

I am a family oriented therapist.  Through parent education and continuous dialogue through the therapeutic process, I strive to cultivate meaningful relationships with the families and children that I serve, so they feel seen, supported and heard.  I am a firm believer in seeing the whole child and tailoring therapy to meet their current needs and gently guide them where they need to go.

Outside of the clinic, you can find me in the kitchen, where I have recently taken up the art of sourdough making!  I love sharing all of my tips and tricks for getting that perfect loaf.  When I am not in the kitchen I love being outdoors, spending time with my family and friends, watching a good movie or reading a good book.  I also enjoy going to see a play or musical from time to time.

I have always had a passion for helping children find their voice and make their mark on the world and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to do so at Helping Hands!

Lacee's inspiration for Helping Hands:

I honestly believe the Lord has a well thought out plan for each of us. Reflecting on all my life challenges, I am so appreciative of those Helping Hands that surround me. I humbly realize that without trials and tribulations, I would not be who I am today. We are the Lord’s pottery pieces. He challenges us to change and shapes us with his helping hands. He works through each of us so we can use our strengths to help others in their time of weakness and difficulties. As a therapist I can only be a helping hand trying to mold each child and guide a family to the best of my ability. My belief is that life is better with many helping hands and a team of people empowering and guiding our children. One of my biggest priorities is to maintain a team approach with decision making. I see now more than ever the importance of networking with other therapists and sharing our ideas and accomplishments with our clients using a variety of interventions. I do not want to lose clarity by limiting clients’ potential or falling short of additional opportunities that can come from a team effort. Going into my clients’ homes, ABA centers, schools, and taking them on outings has been a wonderful opportunity. Therefore, I look forward to our togetherness at work.
